Assistant Finance Director
Non- Union Exempt
Salary Range (24): $5,755 – $7,008 / Plus Benefits

The Assistant Finance Director holds an administrative position in the Finance Department. The general duties include financial planning, investing, budgeting, data processing, revenue administration, investment of city monies, public utilities accounting, special assessment accounting, assisting in City finance operations, statistical data accumulation for the City and purchasing and services necessary for the department. Assistant Finance Director serves as a resource to departments and performs designated duties of the Finance Director in the Finance Director’s absence.
Education and Experience:
Experience, education, or training which provides the level of knowledge, skill and ability equivalent to: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with continuing education in finance, accounting, and information technology related subjects.
Five years’ management and professional level accounting experience, with a minimum of two years in: governmental accounting, supervisory experience, financial report preparation, information technology, and personal computer applications.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid WA State Driver’s License.
