Salary Range: Water Equipment Technician I (15) $3,606-4,388
Water Equipment Technician II (17) $3,967-4,829

Position Summary:

The Water Equipment Technician I, and II function under the direction of the Water Systems Manager and Water Equipment Tech III, to operate, monitor, and maintain the City of Aberdeen’s Wynoochee Intake and Lake Aberdeen Industrial Water intake facilities. These positions also performs shop and field maintenance as needed on small and large equipment, and assures proper documentation and reporting of shop and field activities.

Requirements:

Water Equipment Technician I: High school graduation or GED; successful completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in gasoline and diesel engines, and a valid WA State driver’s license is required.

Water Equipment Tech II: High school graduation or GED; successful completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in gasoline and diesel engines, two years’ experience as a Water Equipment Tech I, and a valid WA State Class A CDL is required.
