Our purpose is to enable a safe and secure community environment that will be a source of pride for future generations; to ensure crime prevention though our presence and community education; to protect the rights of citizens from those who wish to compromise that right; and to continually grow with and lead the community into the future.

Our lobby is open from 7 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, to serve you. If you need to speak to an officer after hours or on the weekend, you can call the Grays Harbor Radio non-emergency number 360-533-8765, and an officer will be dispatched to contact you.

If you come to the department and find the doors locked, use the phone to contact dispatch and an officer should be dispatched to meet you. If you would like to praise our staff or you would like to talk about the service you received, ask to talk to the supervisor.

The department has many assignment; K-9 (apprehension dog), Bicycle Patrol, Field Training Officer, Firearms instructor, Motorcycle Officer, Crises Response Unit (CRU) Officer, Detective, Drug Task Force Detective, Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART), Special Assignment officer, and Instructor in other special areas.
